About Cellar Dog in the West Village
Cellar Dog in the West Village reopens the legacy of the iconic Fat Cat by combining regulation-size pool tables with a full array of game options, ping-pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and vintage board games, all set under live jazz performances. Located at 75 Christopher Street, it takes place in a 9,000 sq ft underground space with church pew seating and retro ambiance.
Game fees run around $6–$7/hour per person, and multiple tables are available so queues stay minimal, even on jam-packed weekend nights. The food menu features nachos, grandma-style pizza, pretzels, and custom ice cream alongside draft beers, wine, seltzers, and small-batch cocktails.
Cellar Dog retains Fat Cat’s spirit of inclusivity and creativity, appealing to a wide mix, jazz and game lovers, board game crowds, locals, and trivia nights. With jam nights into the early morning and a distinctly artsy atmosphere, Cellar Dog offers one of Manhattan’s most singular late-night game experiences.
